Dear Common Awakening Companions,

Wondering about your heart-to-heart connection with someone, even if they aren’t close to you? Curious about the signal of your own heart?

Our sacred heart center is like a planet that holds a surround of oscillating stars of friends, family, loved ones, acquaintances, strangers….essentially all living beings. We constantly attune and connect, often without words and with an abundance of light, energy, and vibration, both conscious and unconscious. We limit our scope of awareness when we perceive that if we are “out of sight” of one another, then we are “out of mind.” Only the finiteness of perception reduces our impact and influence on one another.

One of the most incredible comforts for me in great difficulty has been to feel, see, hear, and know intuitively the orbit of stars of people around me, both seen and unseen. When we connect with the surrounding of light beings that bear witness, love, and support from us, we understand that we are not alone and will never be. Each heartbeat syncs with the hearts gathered around us in perpetuity. This isn’t just woo. Even in the greater cosmos, we see stars' hearts beat for their home planet and pulse in response to their home planet’s flares.

Our sacred heartbeat is a spiritual signal. Our spiritual (and physical!) heartbeat beckons and transmits a call to our “people” to beat together in tandem as one. It is the most primal of messages that instantaneously creates community, both the people we can name and those we cannot.

This week I include an audio-meditation that opens you into feeling, knowing, seeing and hearing your heartbeat as a portal of connection with your larger surround of support. Consider offering your words of reflection after completing the guided meditation.

Long to feel connected, meaningful, purposeful, supported, and loved? It begins with the heart. Our heartbeat is the greatest of all communicators. Each beat holds a message, sending out our flare, inviting connection, love, and support from many realms that are present for that reason alone. We need only ask.
